Dion Richardson, 38, of Warwick, has been named as the year’s ninth road fatality, following a crash at the junction of Barkers Hill and Palmetto Road in Devonshire.According to police, Mr Richardson was riding a motorcycle along North Shore Road, when his vehicle struck the roundabout shortly before 2am yesterday.He was brought by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial, where he was pronounced dead by an on-call physician.Mr Richardson’s death followed a weekend marked by the funeral on Saturday of Bermuda’s eighth road fatality of this year, Alexander Monk.Anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have been in that area of North Shore Road at that time, is asked to contact Pc Timothy Evelyn at 295-0011 or 247-1788.
