Police car flips after hitting wall

A marked police car flipped over after it hit a wall in Southampton on Boxing Day, causing extensive damage but no injuries.According to a Police spokesman, at around 1.45pm police attended the crash which happened on Middle Road, near the junction with Lighthouse Road.“It appears that a marked police car was travelling along Middle Road when it collided with a sidewalk and a wall, causing the vehicle to overturn,” the spokesman said.“The marked police car was extensively damaged, however the police officer driving the vehicle was not injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway.”
