The City of Hamilton will be collecting Christmas trees next week, and is calling for City residents to put out their trees at normal collection times.A City spokeswoman said yesterday: “Christmas trees must be set out during regular garbage collection times.“The trees should not be placed in plastic bags, and all ornaments and decorations must be removed.”The Ministry of Public Works previously announced that it will be collecting Christmas trees in the East End on Wednesday, January 18, and in the West End on Wednesday, January 25.
