Two sculptures by Bermudian artist Desmond Fountain are on auction at Christie’s in London today.‘Sit Boy Sit’, a patinated bronze model of a boy with a dog, 31 inches high, is valued between $4,700 and $7,800.‘Squirt’, a 22-inch model of a girl with a sponge, is priced between $3,100 and $6,200.Mr Fountain is an internationally acclaimed sculptor and a Fellow of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, and has a gallery at Elbow Beach Hotel.Both items are dated for sale today, and can be viewed at www.christies.com.
