Man injured after car hits parked vehicle

A car driver ended up in hospital after his vehicle collided with a parked car on Scott’s Hill Road in Sandys early yesterday.Police responded to the incident around 3.15am. A spokeswoman said: “It appears that the car was travelling along Scott’s Hill Road when it collided with a car that was parked outside a residence.“The driver, a 54-year-old Sandys man was injured and conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance where he was treated for his injuries. The passenger, a 42-year-old man sustained injuries that apparently did not require hospital treatment. Both vehicles were extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.”
