Delta is to offer a new daily, year-round service between the Island and New York-LaGuardia.The flights start next April, according to a release in The Wall Street Journal today.The airline announced the new flights to Bermuda were part of an expanded service out of New York that would also include additional transport to destinations in the Caribbean and Florida."We're excited to be announcing new and expanded service to these popular leisure destinations at the same time we're building our new domestic hub at LaGuardia Airport," said Gail Grimmett, Delta's senior vice president - New York. "It's another step toward achieving our goal of becoming the preferred airline in New York."Delta’s flights between Bermuda and LaGuardia begin April 8.The flights leave LaGuardia at 9.55am, arriving in Bermuda at 1.05pm.They leave the Island at 2.05pm, landing at LaGuardia at 3.40pm.
