Bermuda Police Service’s new student officers are;PC 2443 Denique Archer, PC 2444 Michelle Berkeley, PC Joshua 2445 Boden, PC 2446 Keisha Brooks, PC 2447 Stephen Dill, PC 2448 Te-ara Douglas, PC 860 Deforest Evans, PC 2449 Jerome Overbey, PC 2450 Milen Simons, PC 2451 Sean Simons, PC 2452 Jonathan Talbot, PC 2453 Keegan Taylor, PC 2454 Lisa-Nichole Tucker, PC 2455 Kion Wade and PC 2456 Ashun Wolffe.
A new set of recruits for the Bermuda Police Service enters a third week of training this week in an intensive 12 week programme to become officers.Of the 15 recruits, five are women who joined with ten men ranging in age from 22 — 45 years old.They commenced training on Recruit Foundation Course 74 on May 7, and were sworn in as police constables on May 10.A police spokeswoman said: “There are 11 Bermudians, two Spouses of Bermudians (a Trinidadian and a Canadian) and two status Bermudians (an American and a Canadian).”Four recently graduated from the Police Cadet Programme. Officer in Charge of Training, Inspector Charlene Thompson said “she has no doubt that she will see all 15 recruits remain at the end of the course.“It’s a life-changing experience,” she said. “They’ve all come with the will and determination to succeed.”
