The City of Hamilton today announce a series of road closures throughout the city as a result of the Bermuda Dayactivities taking place on May 24.THE SINCLAIR PACKWOOD MEMORIAL CYCLE RACE AND IN-LINE SKATERS RACE (through the city)Entering Front Street at the eastern city boundary in a westerly direction to the junction of Queen Street, north on Queen Street, west on Church Street, and north on Cedar Avenue. The finish line for the cyclists will be on Cedar Avenue outside of the Leopard’s Club. The in-line skaters will continue north on Cedar Avenue to the city boundary and will finish on Dutton Avenue adjacent to Bernard Park.JUNIOR CLASSIC (starts in the city)Commences at 9.30 a.m. at the western end of Front Street moving in an easterly direction to the junction of Queen Street, then north on Queen Street, east on Church Street, north on King Street, west on Victoria Street and north on Cedar Avenue to the city boundary.MARATHON DERBY (through City):Follows the same route as the Junior Classic.
