St George's mayor issues a thank you after wall replaced

A wall that collapsed near Tiger Bay in St George's more than a year ago has been repaired.Mayor Kenneth Bascome said yesterday that after discussions it was discovered that the wall, which is behind the cruise ship terminal, is owned by the Bermuda Telephone Company.The new 125ft long wall was completed last week.“The wall collapsed about a year-and-a-half ago,” Mr Bascome said. “I would like to thank BTC and Ken Lawley for the outstanding job that D&J Construction has done on behalf of the community of St George's.
