The acting head of Government’s Department of Communications and Information (DCI) is returning to his former position at the police.Dwayne Caines announced yesterday that he will resume his role as Police Media Relations Manager on July 1, having spent nine months working at DCI.“The Cabinet Secretary will announce who will fill the Director’s post in the near future,” he said.The job was previously occupied by Beverle Lottimore, who is now managing the Bermuda Government Office in Washington DC.Police press officer Robin Simmons has been acting as Police Media Relations Manager during Mr Caines’ time at DCI.
