Consulate to host meeting on Social Security benefits for US citizens

Representatives from the US Social Security Administration will host a public meeting for American residents next Thursday to discuss benefits and other related issues.The meeting will be held at noon at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce boardroom in Hamilton, above the ferry terminal on Front Street on July 12.Speakers include US Consul Adam Vogelzang and Jane McEntee, the Regional Federal Benefits Officer, who will also address any questions that may arise during the meeting.But anyone wishing to attend must give advance notice by sending an e-mail to HMLamcongen@state.gov no later than Monday, July 9, indicating the number of people planning to attend.
