A Brown Booby, another rare bird visitor to Bermuda has been spotted just days after the sighting of a Magnificent Frigatebird. The bird was most likely blown here by Tropical Storm Debby, as was the Frigatebird.Video footage of the Brown Booby flying around Cooper’s Island was sent to The Royal Gazette.Andrew Dobson, president of the Audubon Society, said the Brown Booby is not often seen in Bermuda.“Its nearest breeding colonies are in the Caribbean,” Mr Dobson said. “It feeds by making spectacular dives into the water.”http://tinyurl.com/cbermy7
