Three senior Civil Servants moved
The Cabinet Office has announced the appointment of three new senior Civil Service executives.Rozy Azhar, Randy Rochester and Ross Webber will each take on posts in different government departments.Ms Azhar has been appointed to the new position of Assistant Cabinet Secretary in the Cabinet Office.She had previously served as Chief Immigration Officer and assistant Chief Immigration Officer.Mr Rochester has been named permanent secretary in the Ministry of Public Works.He has worked as director of the Transport Control Department and held various acting appointments as permanent secretary for several ministries.Mr Webber will now serve as permanent secretary in the Ministry of Business Development and Tourism.He was previously employed as director of business development at Conyers Dill & Pearman and as marketing manager at Business Bermuda.Donald Scott, secretary to the Cabinet and head of Civil Service, welcomed the three new senior executive officials.“Our aim as senior executive managers is to raise the standard of service delivery to our community.“I look forward to their contributions as thought leaders, executive managers and advisers as they join other members working to modernise Bermuda’s public sector.”
