Sandys Secondary Middle School is to hold a ceremony honouring community heroes.The programme is also designed to honour Bermuda’s emancipation, and will be hosted by Economy Minister Patrice Minors.Honorees include Cyril Packwood, Warren Simmons, Matilda Baxter and Eustace Cann.A Ministry spokeswoman said: “This year’s individuals will be honoured for their historical contributions to the community.”There will be dance performances choreographed by Eric Bean and musical solos by Madree Musson and Toni Robinson.The July 31 event is free to the public.
