A new Economic Empowerment Zone office opened today on Ordnance Island, St George's.It will be staffed by businessman and entrepreneur Raymond Lambert, who has experience running Windjammer Watersports and Snorkel Park.Mr Lambert described the Old Town as "a gem" and said he looks forward to helping local businesses and entrepreneurs make it "vibrant once again".The office will open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 5pm until mid-September, and five days a week after that. It is located at the Storekeeper's House, 5 Ordnance Island, and can be reached via 2925570.It joins existing EEZ offices in Hamilton and the West End in offering a range of advice to new and existing businesses.
