A man is in hospital being treated for serious head injuries following a road accident this morning.The accident occurred shortly before 8am on St John's Road in Pembroke.According to police, a 39-year-old Pembroke man and a 30-year-old Warwick man were travelling on motorcycles when they collided.Said the spokesman: "It appears that the two men were travelling in opposite directions on their motorcycles when they somehow collided. As a result, both men were taken to [King Edward VII Memorial Hospital]. One of the men received minor injuries however the other is being treated for serious head injuries [in the Intensive Care Unit]."Witnesses are asked to contact PC Robert Butterfield on 295-0011.
