OBA leads community clean-up

The One Bermuda Alliance will host a community clean-up in parts of Devonshire Marsh and Prospect tomorrow morning.Residents are encouraged to come out between 8am and 11am and help.Persons who are interested should head to Vesey Street just beyond Barker’s Hill at 8am, to aid with efforts in the Devonshire Marsh area.Those willing to tackle Prospect should go to junction of Fort Hill and Alexandra Roads at the same time, to assist in cleaning up Prospect.Trash bags and gloves will be provided by Keep Bermuda Beautiful, with water, goodies and hand sanitiser provided by the OBA committee members.The clean-up, in response to complaints by area constituents, will be led by OBA MPs Michael Dunkley and Bob Richards and party candidate Anthony Francis.“We will do our best to mirror these clean-ups elsewhere,” said a spokesman about similar projects in the future. “We have already had two clean-ups, one in Spanish Point and the other in Pembroke.”
