The victorious Somerset Cricket Club Cup Match team will be officially congratulated on Tuesday by Premier Paula Cox and her Cabinet colleagues.The event will be staged at the National Sports Centre on Tuesday, at 12.30pm, at the club house.Somerset dethroned former champions St George’s Club in a spectacular second innings that led to a ten-wicket victory in Somerset, the first SCC win since 2002.Thousands made their way to SCC grounds for the two day match to celebrate the victory which has seen a number of motorcades since the victorious result.Participants in the planned celebrations tomorrow are urged to enter the National Sports Centre grounds on the Frog Lane side and follow the road to the club house pavilion area.
