Big Brothers Big Sisters hope to raise at least $10,000 with their latest fundraiser — the most offbeat and creative yet.Harbour Nights audiences were treated to Economy Minister Patrice Minors skipping in a tutu, One Bermuda Alliance candidate Jeff Sousa taking on women’s world middleweight champion Teresa Perozzi and Health Minister Zane DeSilva and Veejay Steede willingly had their hair painted green, and a pie thrown in their face — all in the name of charity last night.George Jones, the charity’s President said that the novel fundraiser had been a complete success.And they already have plans for the next “How Much Would You Pay To See Me…?” fundraiser which asks community celebrities and politicians to dare to be slightly crazy for a good cause.“Next year will be bigger and better,” said communications director Patrina O’Connor.“We’re going to be asking corporate companies who is the craziest person on their staff.”l See more photos at our online gallery, www.royalgazette.com
