Bermuda footage will appear tonight on The Weather Channel, as meteorologist Jim Cantore and his crew are on-Island to film Tropical Storm Leslie.Mr Cantore has said the weekend will in all likelihood give Bermuda “a hurricane party without the hurricane”.Weather Centre Live from 8pm Bermuda time will include some local footage, freshly filmed as Mr Cantore and associates survey the South Shore.The international TV personality praised the Island’s hurricane preparations.“You guys were ahead of the game on this one,” Mr Cantore said.Fortunately, he added, Leslie appears to have lost structure — for now.“This system, right now as we’re talking about it, has no inner core,” he said. “As it’s coming by us, though, it will be trying to develop into a hurricane.”
