Public invited to suggest new feature for City Hall
Residents are invited to make suggestions on the redesign of the front of City Hall.The City of Hamilton said it would like the public’s input as it considers a replacement for the fountains removed after more than 30 years.People can take part in an online survey at www.cityofhamilton.bm, or submit drawings to PO Box HM 1175, Hamilton, HM EX, before 5pm on Friday, October 19.Councillor Troy Symonds said in a statement: “I see this as an exciting opportunity to hear from everyone who is interested in the aesthetics and utility of the front of City Hall.“I look forward to receiving the public’s comments. It is my intention to display all of the ideas we receive in the foyer of City Hall.“Winning participant(s) could see their name adorn a feature of their design when City Hall unveils its new look.“I encourage everyone, from students to professionals, to share their thoughts, concepts and drawings.”
