Flushing water has been restored in St George’s after a leaking pipe was repaired, according to Mayor Kenneth Bascome.Area residents first encountered trouble with the system last month.The brackish water flushing system was running again late Sunday.Mr Bascome thanked residents for their patience, as well as the workers who isolated the problem.A hole in one of the pipes had to be traced and fixed, the Mayor explained.
