A travel package offered by a service that catered to persons over the age of 50 provided the perfect opportunity.“I just loved the Island,” said Mr Little. “We’ve been so pleased. We were very, very impressed with the children when they get on and off the buses. It’s so nice to see them saying ‘good morning’ and ‘good afternoon’. It impressed me more than anything else, as a tourist, to see that.”Added Mrs Little: “All the people are very friendly and we like the bus transport.”Swimming was the couple’s favourite activity while here.“The beach here is to die for,” Mr Little said. The couple also went to the aquarium, visited Hamilton and St George’s and did a lot of reading and relaxing.“We’ve probably had too many rum swizzles,” joked Mr Little. “The whole idea was to relax and I think we’ve done that.”The couple said that “listening to one another” was key to a successful marriage.Patience, was also important, Mr Little said. The pair have three children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.Their hope is to one day return to the Island.“We think we’d love to come in May,” said Mr Little.
