Bird of prey checks out marsh

A visiting osprey, a large bird of prey, was seen scanning Pembroke Marsh yesterday afternoon.
A large bird of prey was seen circling above Pembroke Marsh yesterday afternoon. The distinctive osprey, which feeds on fish, circled on thermals near Government House before scanning the marsh from its high vantage point.Impressive fish catchers, ospreys are a relatively large bird of prey and can have a wingspan of up to six feet. The birds occasionally visit Bermuda during migration.
