The Department of Border Control has issued a reminder for passport holders to double-check expiration dates before making travel arrangements for the Christmas holiday.According to Acting Chief Immigration Officer, Dr Danette Ming, “you should allow for an eight business day processing time” for renewals.“We take pride in the service we provide to our valued customers. We do not wish for them to be disappointed because their travel plans are delayed due to passport issues,” she said.Dr Ming concluded with a reminder for would-be travellers to double check to be sure their passport is valid to enjoy planned vacation and, or business travel.
