A 17-year-old motorcyclist was this morning in intensive care after a crash in Southampton.A Police spokesman said: "Around 7.45am on Wednesday, police and first responders attended a two vehicle collision on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with Tribe Road 2 involving a SUV and an auxiliary cycle."It appears that the SUV was being driven along Middle Road and the auxiliary cycle was being ridden along the same road when the vehicles collided."The auxiliary cycle rider, a 17 year old Sandys man, was seriously injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. At last check he was in the Intensive Care Unit."Witnesses should contact Pc Jason Ming at the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011.
