A Sandys resident has been arrested in connection with a recent assault at Woody’s Bar & Restaurant.A 29-year-old Pembroke man is now being treated overseas for serious head injuries received during the incident.Said a Police spokesman: “Detectives from the Serious Crime Unit are continuing their investigation into the assault of a 29-year-old Pembroke man that occurred around 12.45am Thursday, December 6, 2012, seriously injuring him. Inquiries have confirmed that the incident did in fact take place outside Woody’s Bar & Restaurant in Sandys parish and a 21-year-old Sandys parish man has been arrested in connection with the matter.”Anyone with information “particularly persons who were in the car park outside of Woody's around 12.10am” that day should call 247-1739 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
