Danette Ming is the new Chief Immigration Officer, Government has announced.Dr Ming’s appointment took effect on February 1, although she has been the acting Chief Immigration Officer since December 2010.She is a former Human Resources executive of Cable and Wireless and had lectured part-time at the Bermuda College.“During her time in the department, Dr Ming has worked to streamline the workflow processes, increase customer service levels across all sections in the Department, and improve manager-employee working relationships,” Government said in a statement.“She is adept in linking individual values and corporate identity to achieve greater employee satisfaction and increasing overall organisational performance.”Dr Ming has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, a dual Master’s degree in Management and Human Resource Development, and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership.
