BHC looking for input into what to do with Grand Atlantic
The Bermuda Housing Corporation (BHC) is seeking input and gauging interest for the future of the Grand Atlantic housing development in Warwick.In Friday’s edition of The Royal Gazette, the Corporation formally advertised its Request for Information (RFI) and announced there will be a meeting for potential investors on April 17.The advertisement stated: “The BHC hereby requests expressions of interest from all parties interested in purchasing this completely developed and fully equipped property with a view to creating an alternate use for this asset whilst creating a benefit to the community.“The purpose of issuing an RFI is to determine whether or not there is sufficient interest to invest in this property and to contemplate the best use for the development based on the responses received.“In the event that there is sufficient market interest the BHC may, but is not obliged to, initiate a competitive bidding process.”Information packets can be collected at the Ministry of Finance Office of Project Management and Procurement starting Monday, and submissions will be accepted until May 9.
