Bermuda College students and staff are lending the community a hand this week as part of their third annual Community Service Day.Over the course of three days, around 70 college staff and students will spend three hours assisting charitable organisations, including the Salvation Army Thrift Shop, The Women’s Resource Centre, Meals on Wheels and several seniors homes.Volunteers have also been working to beautify the college’s Stonington campus.Coordinator of the event, Emma Williams, who spent Tuesday afternoon with the residents of the Packwood Home in Sandys, said: “People’s willingness to help makes my job a pleasure.”
