School’s careers day sees visit to law office, police station

Sandys Secondary Middle School students got instructed in the finer details of the law during the school’s annual careers day.For one group of M2 students, this included a trip to the Southside Police Station in St David’s and an afternoon at Hamilton law firm Wakefield and Quinn.Teacher Philip Trott explained that the trips are a yearly event covering different trades and industries around the Island.The careers day was organised by school counsellors Victor Burrows and Deanna Ingham.
