A sailor was arrested after running his boat aground near the Spanish Point Boat Club on Tuesday evening.A Police spokesman said that no one was injured in the incident which took place at round 10.15pm.“The alleged boat operator, a 40-year-old Smith’s parish man, was arrested on suspicion of operating a marine vessel while impaired and inquiries into this incident are ongoing,” the spokesman said.
