The Bermuda Autism Support and Education Foundation (BASE) will host a casino-styled fundraiser to boost funds for their cause.‘Gaming for Change’ will be held on September 20, in cooperation with CB Market Solutions, at Landfall Restaurant, emceed by morning radio host Bootsie of Magic 102.7FM.Marketing spokesman Callan Bassett said: “The evening’s festivities will consist of dinner, music and several casino-style games such as roulette, craps, crown & anchor, blackjack and Texas hold’em.“Several prizes, donated by local businesses in support of the BASE Foundation will also be available for participants throughout the night as well as a grand prize for the night’s big winner.“Proceeds will benefit the BASE Foundation and will be used to support the local education of autistic children through the funding of proper equipment, supplies and training,” he said.“With this event the BASE Foundation will be raising the awareness of autism on the Island as well as providing an opportunity to foster ways in which to support the greater Autistic community as a whole.”Tickets for this event can be purchased through CB Market Solutions at 747-8281 or e-mail callanb@cbmktsolutions.com or bermudatix.com.
