Police are seeking more information about a fatal traffic collision that killed an American contract worker last month.

According to a Police spokesman, Donald Pimentel, 52, sustained serious injuries when the rental cycle he was riding collided with a motorcycle at the junction of Harbour Road and Morgan Road in Warwick at around 5.30pm on October 11.

“He was subsequently airlifted overseas for further medical treatment and later succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, October 17,” the spokesman said. “The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family and friends of Mr Pimentel.

“The investigation into this fatal collision is ongoing and any witnesses that have not already come forward are encouraged to contact PC Timothy Evelyn at the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1145.”
