Two men have been rushed to hospital suffering from “serious” injuries following a collision on East Broadway in Pembroke tonight.

The accident, involving two motorcycles, took place at around 8.40pm near the Rubis gas station and Blue Waters Anglers Club. Initial reports suggest that the two motorists were travelling in opposite directions when they collided.

A police spokesman said: “Both men were taken to the hospital were at this point both are being treated for what at this point is being described as serious injuries.”

The spokesman later confirmed that one of the crash victims, a 46-year-old male, is in a serious condition with head injuries.
