US Consulate, National Library unite for a monthly film night
The US Consulate General and the Bermuda National Library have joined forces to hold a regular film night at the Adult Library.
According to a spokeswoman, the films will be provided by the US Department of State, including documentaries, docudramas and educational videos on topics of interest to both Americans and Bermudians.
The first in the bimonthly “Consulate Night at the Library” series will be the documentary “Pray the Devil Back to Hell”, which details how Liberian women came together to end a bloody civil war.
Following the screening, Consulate Officer Eleesha Lewis will lead a discussion.
The screening will take place on November 25 at 6pm, but due to limited space only 50 people will be able to attend.
Accommodation will be determined on a first-come, first-serve basis.
