A Pembroke man appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with four counts of sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl.

The man was not required to enter a plea as the charges are indictable.

He was charged with having unlawful carnal knowledge of a young girl, along with three further counts of sexual assault.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner adjourned the trial for mention until December 23.
