Three charged with murder
Three Sandys men have been charged with the premeditated murders of Mr Rico Furbert and Mr Haile Outerbridge.
Mr Gariko Benjamin, Mr Le-veek Roberts and Mr Christoph Duerr stand accused of murdering Mr Furbert and Mr Outerbridge on January 23 this year at Belvin’s Variety store in Pembroke.
Twenty-five year-old Mr Duerr, was the only defendant in court, while warrants were issued for Mr Benjamin, 22, and Mr Roberts, 20.
The three were also charged together with using a firearm to commit murder, while Mr Benjamin and Mr Roberts were charged separately with attempting to cause the unlawful death of another person, and taking vehicles without the owners’ consent.
Interpol has issued a red notice for the arrest of Mr Benjamin.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded Mr Duerr into custody to await mention on December 27.
