Last week’s spate of gale force winds kept Bermuda Maritime Operations busy, with several boats submerged by rains and broken from their moorings.
Stormy conditions that peaked on Friday abated over the weekend, and the service reported a quiet day yesterday — but more unsettled weather is on the way.
Drizzle forecast for today is expected to build into more windy conditions as a cold front moves off the East Coast of the US later today.
Stronger winds can be expected tomorrow, with the frontal system expected to pass to the Island’s east by tomorrow night.
