Controversial film to be shown

An award-winning film described as the most controversial of the year for its frank depiction of a romance between two women is to be screened in Bermuda.

Bermuda International Film Festival (BIFF) will show “Blue is the Warmest Colour” on January 26 at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute auditorium.

In French with English subtitles, the film has an NC17 rating. Directed by Abdellatif Kechiche, it has so far won 24 awards on the international film festival circuit.
