An American contract worker remains in the Intensive Care Unit today after a collision between his rental cycle and a motorcycle yesterday afternoon.

A police spokesman said the accident, around 1.30pm on Point Finger Road in Paget, resulted in injury to both riders.

“At last check the male rental cycle rider, a 29-year-old American contract worker, was in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. The motorcyclist, a 70-year-old Devonshire woman, apparently sustained relatively minor injuries,” added the spokesman.

Police urged anyone with information about the collision to contact PC Llewellyn Simons at 295-0011.
