Library promotes winter reading

The Bermuda National Library (BNL) is inviting the public to ‘cozy up’ with a good book as part of their Winter Reading Programme.

Head librarian Joanne Brangman said: “We started this programme to encourage our patrons to venture outside their comfort zone this winter and read books from seven different genres, including a fun surprise title.

“Upon registering, each person is given a Winter Reading quilt form which must be completed to be eligible to receive prizes. We also want participants to use the form to comment and reviews about the books they chose.”

The programme, sponsored by the Buechner Sociaety of Bermuda has already launched and will continue until March 31.
