The Progressive Labour Party have announced a week of community events aimed at creating unity in the West End.

On Sunday, the PLP will take part in an afternoon church service at Allen Temple AME Church featuring visiting choirs and pastors.

That will be followed on Wednesday with a forum on education at the Somerset Cricket Club starting at 7pm.

On Friday, February 21, there will be a social night at Sandys Secondary Middle School and Auditorium starting at 6pm with a drive in movie, games and karaoke.

And a Community Service Day has been scheduled for February 22 at the Sandys Community Centre.

“We encourage all of our West End Supporters of the Progressive Labour Party to come out to these events and spread ‘unity in the community’,” said a party spokesman.
