A Sandys woman today admitted to stealing an assortment of goods from the MarketPlace in Pembroke.
Marion Minors, 57, of Scott’s Hill, pleaded guilty to stealing items worth a total of $64.68.
Prosecutor Cindy Clarke said Minors was seen by shopping staff with two cans of food in her cart but when the same staff member saw her later, the two cans of food had gone missing.
After paying for her items, Minors was approached by management who questioned her about the cans of food. She eventually showed them that she had hidden the cans, along with other goods, inside her bag.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo adjourned sentencing until next week, releasing Minors on $1,000 bail.
