Burglars busy in Paget and Devonshire
Police are investigating a spate of burglaries in Paget and Devonshire.
Thefts have been reported this week in homes in the Trimingham Hill and Seabright Avenue area in Paget and the Watlington Road and Jubilee Road area in Devonshire.
Residents have been urged to keep a look-out for suspicious individuals in their neighbourhoods and secure their homes by ensuring all windows and doors are locked before leaving.
Air conditioning units should also be secured and Police are recommending that all valuables are kept in a safe or safety deposit box.
In addition, residents are being advised to take pictures of all of their valuables and record serial numbers of all electronic goods.
In the event that any personal property is stolen and later recovered, Police have explained such items can be more easily identified.
Members of the public are asked to report any suspicious activity seen in their neighbourhoods to the nearest police station or call the main police telephone number 295-0011.
