Man charged after uttering threatening words

A Devonshire man has been charged with uttering threatening words to a woman.
Appearing in Magistrates’ Court this morning, Chesterfield Robinson, 54, denied telling Sharon Alves: “I’m gonna kill you, you f****** b****, you wait and see, I ain’t gonna forget. I’ll f***ing get you . . .”
The alleged offence occurred on March 29.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Mr Robinson on $1,000 and ordered him not to contact Ms Alves.
He will be tried on July 30.
