A Devonshire man has denied two counts of conspiring to import more than 500 grams of cannabis.

Kevon Trott, 35, of Alexandra Road, is accused of conspiring to import 118.7 grams of the drug between a date unknown and May 14 this year, and conspiring to import 452.9 grams of the drug between on a date unknown and October 10 last year.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Mr Trott on $15,000 bail with one surety.

He will reappear for mention on May 21.
