A Canadian national has been charged with importing more than $40,000 worth of cannabis.
Moses Adejumo, 23, was allegedly found in possession of 885 grams of the drug after arriving in Bermuda on a flight from Toronto.
The drugs have a street value of $44,000.
In Magistrates’ Court this morning, Mr Adejumo denied the charges of importing cannabis and possessing cannabis with the intent to supply.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded Mr Adejumo in custody and set a trial date for June 5.
