Somerset Primary School has had to close early today because of faulty plumbing.

Details of the extent of any damage are not yet available, but parents are being asked to collect their children from the school as soon as possible.

An Education Ministry spokesman said: “Somerset Primary School has been closed due to plumbing issues and parents are asked to collect their children.

“Parents are being e-mailed and called to advise them of the closure.”
