Fire Service puts out fire on trailer

A Bermuda Fire Service fireman douses a landscaping company's trailer with water while another inspects it on Highwood Lane, Paget Friday afternoon. One firetruck and four firefighters responded to the emergency call at 3.50pm while a Belco crew were also called to attend to a downed line.
Firefighters were put to work tackling a fire in a trailer in Paget.
According to a spokesman, at around 3.50pm on Friday, the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a report of a vehicle fire near Highwood Lane. When they arrived, they discovered a truck trailer and it’s contents ablaze.
A pair of firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in around five minutes, while staff from Belco were called to the scene to repair a fallen power line near the fire.
The spokesman said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
